A small independent watch project based in Rome.
Hi, I'm Riccardo, founder of Ugolini Meccanica Watches. For over four years, we've been designing, building, and shipping mechanical watches to customers around the world.
Our studio is in Rome. EXPERIMENT was born from a personal obsession: to create a digital watch with the same care, materials, and soul normally reserved for mechanical timepieces.
This isn't just a launch. It's the next chapter in a journey that started years ago.

A precision modification that fills the case with a transparent fluid — not just for looks. It eliminates internal reflections, boosts contrast, and brings the display closer to the crystal.
Soon available: the HIDRODOC, a dedicated tool that allows you to fill the oil yourself, in complete autonomy. No lab, no waiting — just your watch, your oil, your moment.
